Alison Doody
Alison Doody (born 11 November 1966) is a famous Irish model and actress. She made her feature film debut with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to appear as a Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan donnevan starred featured in A Prayer for the Dying in 1987, Charlotte played Taffin (in 1988) as well as Rebecca Flannery played Major League II. Doody started modelling when she was approached. It turned out to be a lucrative career. Doody did not wear the glamour of thongs, nakedness and nudity when she was modeling. If she came to the director's notice for an upcoming James Bond film, Doody was offered a small role on the film A View to a Kill (1985). Doody was listed as a part of John Willis Screen World's Vol. 3 as being one of the 12 top actors of 1986. 38. In 1987, Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying where she played IRA Member Siobhan Donovan. Doody played Archibald Craven's wife Lilias as he portrayed his fantasy in 1987's television adaptation The Secret Garden. The Storyteller episode from 1988 featured her in the lead role of Sapsorrow, alongside John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. The actress played Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. She then took on her greatest role as Austrian archaeologist and Nazisympathiser Dr. Elsa Schneider playing alongside Harrison Ford. Doody acted alongside Sean Connery, who played Indiana Jones' father. Doody has co-starred alongside Jonathan Pryce, in the British mini-series Selling Hitler. The series was in part inspired by The Hitler Diaries publishing scam. When she moved to Hollywood, Doody became famous. She replaced Cybill Shepherd in the L'Oreal spokesperson part. Then she played Flannery Sheen's girlfriend and his agent alongside Charlie Sheen, as Major League II became available in 1994. Doody's first appearance on the screen was in 2003 when Michael Caine played Doody in the role of a brief. She was in the film with Patrick Swayze, in the 2004 TV film version of King Solomon's Mines. Doody was as a character in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. Doody was a guest on RTE's the medical thriller The Clinic. The project was eventually canceled. In 2011 she began the first of two seasons on the E4 comedy show Beaver Falls playing Pam Jefferson.
